This bundle offers a discount when taking both the Assistant Instructor Course and the (ITC) Instructor Training Course. This is an Instructor Development Course that trains you to be an EXCEPTIONAL Open Water Scuba Instructor. The Assistant Instructor program provides the skills, concepts, and teaching experience required to become a successful SSI Instructor. You will learn the SSI Teaching System and philosophy, how to assist Instructors in training and how to independently teach a variety of SSI training programs. Candidates who complete this program can earn the SSI Assistant Instructor rating or work all the way through to the SSI Open Water Instructor after having successfully passed the Instructor Evaluation in addition. Prerequisite for the Assistant Instructor Course in Utila: Dive Guide or Dive Master Certification Assistant Instructor Course Training Schedule: We customize a schedule that best suits your needs. We offer 2 choices for this course: 10 Day Schedule: 1/2 day schedules allowing for free time to prepare and practice in-water skills 6 Day Schedule: full day schedules without free time during the day to prepare Included in the Assistant Instructor Course: SSI ITC Digital Materials SSI Pro Fee Instructor Cue Cards and Slates The SSI Open Water Instructor has the most important job in the entire dive industry: certifying new divers. The OWI ensures they have an amazing learning experience. This program provides candidates with the knowledge, concepts and training necessary to organize and conduct entry-level scuba training courses. Candidates will learn the SSI Teaching System and philosophy, and how to effectively teach and evaluate Open Water Diver students. It will also prepare the candidate for their Instructor Evaluation. We customize a schedule that best suits your needs. Open Water Instructor Course Training Schedule: 8 Day Schedule: includes time in the classroom and in-water. Typically this schedule allows for some free time to prepare and practice in-water skills Prerequisite: SSI Assistant Instructor Certification.
